2001: 600 series step through frame; 46" deck; 18hp B&S engine. Condition is fair with a few scratches and dings. The engine runs however here are the issues with the mower. The fuel pump for engine needs to be replaced. A relatively cheap fix. The bigger issue is the drive pully. Note in the pic's that I have shown that the sleeve where the variator drive pully is rounded out. this is a cast piece. The fix is to either replace the rear drive "axle case"(about $200.00+labor) or....find someone to machine in a new spacer sleeve. Either way its too much work for me at this point and I have already purchased a new mower because my yard is now smaller. This is a project mower for someone that has that kind of patients and ability. A few pluses: Brand new blades! Brand new drive and deck belts.($100 in new parts) good battery and tires, solid frame. Over all a good tractor. Serious only. No wholesalers or junk dealers, sorry im not selling it for $50.00

This mare is absolutely beautiful. She is 16 hands and very well trained. In the arena she would make a great 4-h, western show or english show horse. She knows her cues very well, she has a nice headset, very good with leg pressure. On the trails she is calm and very quiet. She tacks up great, stands tied, bleankets perfect, easy keeper, loves to be groomed. Very safe mare, she has awesome ground manners, loads and trailers nicely. MF 316 GTX Garden Tractor made by Ingersoll 18HP Kohler 60" Deck NICE (Allendale MI 49401) $2650

Massey Ferguson 316 GTX garden tractor with 60" 3-blade mower deck. This model was made by Ingersoll in the early 90's for Massey Ferguson. This is the same tractor as the Ingersoll 4018 with the exception of having an 18hp Kohler Magnum Twin engine, not the Onan. It has a different all steel hood that covers the engine sides and a wider dash. The rest of the tractor is all quality Ingersoll.

The engine drives a hydraulic pump which drives the hydraulic motor to the transaxle. The deck and snowblower are raised and lowered with the center hydraulic cylinder (has down preasure). An optional rear hydraulic PTO can be added to operate a hydraulic tiller, log splitter, brush hog, wood chipper, etc. (I do have a rear PTO available from an Ingersoll tractor).

The mower deck and snowblower are belt driven via an electric PTO clutch on the front of the engine. The deck cuts perfect and is very quiet. The blade are in very good condition and just sharpened.

The Kohler engine has just been rebuilt with the following done to it: replaced governor gear, cam, rings (std; bore was in excellent shape 3.1265 [.0005 above std], gasket kit, carburetor cleaned / new gaskets and nettle valve kit, plug's, air filter & precleaner, fuel filter.

---FYI: you can check the spec on the motor and you will find it is a 18hp Kohler not 16hp as the labels show. This is factory and a common in the engine world. They likely did this since they had a 318 GTX on the market at the same time with only a few extra options with it. All of the M16 Kohler built wear vertical shaft--- Model: M16QS Spec: 24670 Serial: 2108604836 (made in 1991)

The working tractor hour meter reads 1530 and I will continue cutting my lawn with the tractor so there will be more hours added.

You do not see many of these MF models for sale and parts are available from Ingersoll dealers or from myself. I have bought out 3 retiring Case / Ingersoll dealers in the past year and have many new and used parts available.

I have also included a 48" snow blower that was made by Ingersoll for the MF 316 GTX - 318 GTX - 320 GTX models and is the same model as an Ingersoll SB48 snowblower and will fit on all 3000 and 4000 series Ingersoll tractors. I have an Ingersoll model SB48 I used last winter and it never plugged with snow and throws snow at least 25 feet. This mare is trail, roadsafe, will go through branches, out alone, in a group, just a lovely mare. Loads, ties, stands quietly, loves atention, feet like iron, good bone and lots of hair. I live in a great area for trails and bought her to use because my gelding can be spooky and hard to handle on trails, he is working out great though and this mare is not being ridden. She'll ride bareback, with a halter and lead ropes, or just a snaffle, great on trail, doesn't react to anything!. She is beautiful, young and sooo sweet. I would recommend an advanced beginner or higher. For serious trail riders this mare would be awesome to camp with, go anywhere. He has been trail ridden all over Michigan camped over night and picketed. He is up to date on shots and worming and his feet just trimmed (No Shoes) ! Nice gelding. I have team penned with Tuffy and barrel raced him some. He doesn't really care about either. He will do it but his heart isn't in it. He would rather be a trail horse. Reason for selling I would like to get a gaited horse to ride with my fellow gaited friends. And this horse is an extra and not being used that much. Tuffy rides out alone or in a group.
