favorite this post Looking to interview Formerly Incarcerated men and women in GR (Grand Rapids) hide this posting unhide

My name is Skyler Rich,
I am a student at Calvin College here in Grand Rapids.

I run an organization called Forgive Everyone Co and we are looking to share the stories of formerly incarcerated individuals.
We realize how much harder finding housing and employment becomes after receiving a criminal record and we want to share with the world the injustices within the 'justice' system.
We believe after serving time no one should serve a life sentence of second-class status and discrimination.

If you have been discriminated against in housing and employment or in general society and want people to hear your story. Send us an email. The interview is very relaxed. I would just like to talk about your story and experiences and who you are.
ADDITIONALLY: If you are an artist, please make note of that in your email and what your favorite art to work on is..

-Must have a felony record or experienced incarceration
- Must be able to find transportation to Rosa Parks Square in Grand Rapids, MI
- Willingness to be vulnerable and have story shared with the intention of promoting further understanding of the plights of the formerly incarcerated.

I look forward to hearing from you!
