I’m looking for a reliable video editor to help me edit a financial podcast (talking-head + occasional screen shares). This is ongoing work for the right person.
What you’ll be editing
Full episodes (typically 30 min)
Short clips for YouTube Shorts / Reels / TikTok (30–90 sec)
Optional: teaser trailers (15–30 sec)
Style / expectations
Clean cuts, tight pacing (remove dead air, “ums,” repeats)
Basic color correction and audio leveling (make voices crisp/clear)
Light graphics/B-roll if it helps (charts, headlines, relevant visuals)
Export formats optimized for YouTube + vertical social
Deliverables
1 edited full episode (1080p or 4K depending on source)
5–15 short clips per episode (vertical)
Separate audio file if needed (WAV/MP3)
Software
Use whatever you’re fastest in (Premiere, Final Cut, DaVinci, CapCut, Descript, etc.). Must be able to handle large files and deliver via Google Drive/Dropbox.
Pay
Paid per episode or hourly—please include your rate and preferred structure. (This can be ongoing.)
