Interested in helping researchers learn more about self-injury?
We are recruiting individuals who have engaged in self-injury in the past month to participate in a 21-day long research study called Project FADS (Factors Altering Daily Self-Injury).
What will participants be asked to do?
Volunteers will have one interview with staff at the University of Wisconsin-Madison over Zoom. Then for 21 days, you will be asked to use smartphone applications for three-weeks to answer daily questions about their experiences and complete a short, computerized task once a week. This will include downloading an app that records their screen activity on their phone.
Who can join?
We are looking for volunteers who are aged 18 years and older, who have engaged in self-injury in the past month, who own an Android smartphone, and have regular access to the internet.
