Hi! I'm a lifelong electronics nerd who buys / refurbishes / repairs & then resells lab electronics.
I have darn near anything you can think of in electronics T&M and to a lesser extent in physical metrology gear. I'm local to Grand Rapids.
If you'd like to have a look around my lab, I have a tour on my YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bxc-pPgdvV8
What do I have available?
Power supplies ranging from the small adjustable benchtop 30V/2A units up to rackmount 3-phase 8KW units and most of the range in between. Sorensen, TKD-Lambda, Hewlett Packard / Agilent, and Kikusui power supplies among others.
Bench multimeters - low cost older models if you need cheap but functional, to the classic 34401A, up to current generation gear like the Keysight 34465A or the Keithley DMM6500. Sometimes I even have 7.5 and 8.5 digit meters in stock.
Oscilloscopes: everything from classic CRT Tektronix and LeCroy scopes up to more modern Tektronix flatscreen 500MHz and 1GHz TDS and DPO series scopes.
Electronic Loads: I have a stack of Kikusui PLZ334W loads and other models that come and go through my stock.
Frequency Counters: I always try to keep the excellent HPAK (Hewlett Packard / Agilent / Keysight) 53132A 12-digit universal counter in stock as well as others such as Fluke/Phillips.
I have Spectrum Analyzers, Function Generators and their bigger brothers RF Generators that go into the GHz range, dedicated 4W resistance meters from Hioki, Battery Analyzers and Battery IR (Internal Resistance) testers - some also Hioki brand, LCR meters and Capacitance Analyzers, National Instruments devices including PXI mainframes & modules + a ton more varied NI gear. Torque Meters, Battery Simulators, Voltage & Current Standards, Resistance Standards.. the list just keeps going into the more esoteric and specialty gear.
I keep various types of test leads in stock too. Everything from basic/cheap multimeter leads up to OEM Hioki 4W Kelvin Clips. New oscilloscope probes in 2-packs, BNC test lead sets and more.
Other lab related gear as well. ESD mats of various sizes. 1lb spools of Kester Solder. Fume extractors (not the tiny/cheap desktop + carbon foam things - medium to large industrial fume extractors for heavy use in soldering / welding / laser systems - VideoJet, Hakko, etc.. 3M Versaflo PAPR systems including chargers, good batteries, and still-sealed filter cartridges. Honeywell arc-flash protective helmets/face-shields.
Physical Metrology - I have many different Micrometers, Calipers, Gages and more of various models, many Mitutoyo, Starrett, and Brown & Sharpe.
Microscopes and various boom-arm / articulating arm stands. I still have one Mitutoyo toolmakers microscope in stock as well.
Machine vision cameras & lenses of all kinds. Occasionally some Laser Optics and Fiber Lasers as well.
...
This is my 'everything in general' ad - I've had the problem for a long time of gear coming in far faster than I can process it for listing and then sale. If you contact me about a specific item I can then give you options and pull whatever device you ask for to be tested, then provide pictures and video so you can make an informed decision on that instrument. Feel free to reach out.
I am 99% cash only. I typically only allow for other methods with people I have already done business with and know.
For customers interested in something who are not local, I do have an eBay store (and if need be can list an item there for sale if you are too far to come pick it up - price does go up some with eBay though due to fees). eBay storefront is here: https://www.ebay.com/usr/mehlisaa
