This is a Tecumseh horizontal crankshaft engine with electric start that works good.
I bought this for a project that did not happen.
I ran this engine several times last summer.
Seller told me he thought it was 3.5 hp, but I think it is a 4.0 hp. ( probably a HS40).
Great for your minibike, go kart or snow dog.
