We are taking orders for honey bees for sale in the Grand Rapids MI area. Delivery will be starting the first or second week of May. The price will be for all orders after Feb. the 15th. Single deep with a 7-5/8 super hive full of bees, 9 frame 9-5/8 deep box, 7-5/8 with 8 frames. Includes bottom board, cover, entrance reducer, 4-5 frames of brood, honey stores. A single deep box of bees is equal to 12-15#s of bees, with a queen that is already laying. compare this to a 3# package price, where the queen is not laying and won't have any live bees for at least 26 days after the purchase of the package. Most queens will be from our own stock, and inspected for AFB. They will all have had a spring mite treatment. The boxes will vary from the pic, most will be wax treated boxes, some will be painted. The cost will be 285.00 for a story and a half hive, and 240.00 for just a single deep-no 7-5/8 box on top. One half down to hold the order. Would be a great hobby for anyone to start.
