We are selling our family's dairy goat. Her name is Cookie. She’s the best dairy goat we’ve ever had. She is an amazing milker. She kidded triplets in mid march 2024 and is currently giving close to a gallon/ day. She has had two sets of triplets, one set of twins and one single all unassisted live births. Her milk is delicious! She is extremely easy to hand milk. She has good sized teats and orifices and stands well. She is used to being fed her grain while being milk. We bought her for our daughter's 9th birthday as this was what she wanted because she couldn't drink commercial milk. For a couple years Cookie's milk was one of the only things that didn't hurt her belly. Our middle daughter bought a jersey cow last month, and the entire family loves the milk and we are all able to drink it without issues. Our jersey is giving us almost 4 gallons/day. That being said, we have a ton of milk and It's been a very tough decision, but we've decided to lighten our load and sell her along with our one year old moon spotted Nubian doe named Floppy who was born on our farm last spring. I was planning to breed her this fall, but our directions have changed since getting the cow. I have way to much going on right now.
Cookie was born spring 2019
Floppy was born spring 2023 she is not bred
We are asking $300 each.
Looking for an excellent home for these guys. Cookie is dear to our hearts. Floppy is great, but she hasn't been with us as long. They are NOT for meat.
