Wanted: Clean 1 or 2 Bedroom Rental from Private Owner (Rockford)

• Looking for 1 or 2 bedroom private-owner rental for $800 to $1300/month before end of JANUARY 2026 when my current lease expires. Only moving because of excessive increase in current rent without notice. Private/exclusive bedroom, bathroom and preferably kitchen area with at least a fridge/freezer.
• Need a quiet, clean place with no smoking, no pot smokers, low/no crime and no mustiness/mold/mildew smell due to my allergies. I’m in my 50's, quiet, responsible, clean, clean-cut, non-smoker, no kids, no pets and respectful of property.
• Strongly prefer to be located in the outskirts or suburbs of Grand Rapids, Rockford area (preferably) or in the country, not the congested inner city. Anywhere somewhat close to East Beltline or East of Grand Rapids is typically good but open to other areas as well.
• Prefer garage or isolated parking if possible (not street parking) so my vehicle does not get damaged
• Strongly need clean washer and dryer in or close to unit.
