The position of Warehouse Associate at Advance Caster & Wheel Co. involves supporting warehouse operations by performing a variety of tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping goods. As a Warehouse Associate, you will contribute to the efficient movement of products, inventory management, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.
Tasks
• Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments, verify quantities and checking for damaged or defective items.
• Sort, label, and properly store products in designated areas within the warehouse.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to established procedures and shipping requirements.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move products within the warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records by documenting stock levels, discrepancies, and adjustments.
• Perform regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, including sweeping, arranging shelves, and disposing of packaging
materials.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment and efficient warehouse operations.
• Follow safety guidelines and practices to prevent accidents, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment
(PPE).
• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Office Manager.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate, Material Handler, or in a similar role.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy items.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in picking, packing, and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills to interact with team members and follow instructions.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Experience with safety practices and protocols related to warehouse operations.

Lines of Communication

Working Conditions
• This is a full-time or part-time position 8-5 pm Monday through Friday. Some weekends but very little. The Warehouse
Associate typically works in a warehouse environment and may be exposed to varying temperatures and noise levels. The role
involves physical activities and operation of warehouse equipment.
