A national manufactured home appraisal/inspection company is looking to hire a full-time Data Entry & Quality Assurance Specialist in the Grand Rapids area. This role is full-time (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday) and offers the chance to gain deep insight into a unique segment of the real estate industry.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing inspection reports, photos, and documentation submitted by our nationwide network of over 550 field inspectors
- Accurately entering data into our appraisal software system
- Performing quality control checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Communicating with inspectors via phone and email to clarify or verify information
- Using tools like Google Maps and online real estate listings to verify property details
- Collaborating with our in-house appraisal team to ensure timely and accurate report completion
This role requires attention to detail, critical thinking, and a bit of investigative work. Sometimes you’ll need to piece together incomplete information or interpret handwritten notes.
An ideal candidate will:
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills
- Be detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills, and have a proactive mindset
- Be able to quickly learn new systems, processes, and industry concepts
- Have proven reliability, punctuality, and consistent attendance
- Be able to work a full-time schedule (40 hours/week, Monday-Friday), the first several months of which would be in-person in our Grand Rapids office
- Be at least 18 years of age
