Physical Therapy office seeking to hire office and billing manager.
Applicant must be personable, very detailed oriented and driven.
Must have good knowledge and understanding of EOB's, knowledge of CPT/ICD10 codes, tracking claim status, denials, insurance verification and authorization. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies and referring physicians.
Examples of Job Duties:
Verification of medical benefits
Process medical insurance billings
Follow-up of aging claims
Data entry/posting of charges
Printing and mailing/emailing statements
Personal contact with patients regarding: outstanding balances, questions, etc
Collecting patient payments at time of service
Experience with medical billing and coding
Strong attention to details & data entry accuracy
Excellent communication skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Hours are 8 to 5 Monday thru Friday
