The room is a decent sized room with one walk-in closet. Right down the hall is the upstairs bathroom (the other half-bath is on the main floor).
The house is located in the heart of the West Side and was built in 1917. Only a couple block walk to Monarchs Club, Blue Dog Tavern, Corridor Coffee, Westsider Cafe. Less than 1 mile to everything that Bridge St has to offer (New Holland Brewing, Harmony Hall, Bridge St Meijer, Butcher's Union, One Bourbon etc).
Basement is currently divided into two sides: washer/dryer/gym/storage area and the other side is a recording studio. On that note: I own a studio, so there is a fair amount of music that is played in my house. Sometimes it can be loud, but most of the time it's quiet. I keep the music playing to a minimum at night, though - there are neighbors to think of, after all.
The boring money part:
Rent is $500 a month with all utilities included. You heard correctly - you don't need to worry about how the cost gets divided or worry about anything like that! Let me sprout the gray hairs on my head. You just worry about you (.....and the $500). $200 deposit up front that you'll receive back when you move out and room/house hasn't been damaged.
I'll be asking for proof of employment and a credit score.
The obligatory 'no' section:
Being a general fool
31 year old male that works full time In the airospace industry. I'm not home very often, but when I am you'll find me either improving my house in some way, playing guitar, reading, talking with friends.
Other than that, I'm pretty outgoing so something is normally always going on in life. I typically have some beers in the fridge and whiskey in the cupboard, but that is the extent of the substances that are in the house.
