So they can both be using the same transducer and seeing whatever the other head unit can see because they can network together and saving waypoints on one saves waypoints with the other. You can network with your trolling motor or shallow water anchors if you get the right cables. You can see down imaging in 3D and fish and structure just pop out. Same for side imaging, find brush piles, weeds trees and even fish when you learn how to use it. Put one on the bow and the other at the console.You'll be shocked at the crispness if you haven't seen mega in action before. and check out all the color schemes you can set. Every setting lets you see something different than you see with the other colors. Can aslo set for all the regular down imaging your used to. You may wish to purchase the individual units separatly.
