1-3/16 - 5 RARE Acme Tap LEFT HAND Cut Thread cutting Threading Tool USA GTD LH
I have quite a few other acme tap sizes if this is not the size you need just ask.
This one looks to be in good sharp used condition.
I do not see any chipped teeth
1.187" CUT diameter and 5 tpi threads per inch.
RIGHT HAND THREADS.
US made in America by GTD Co.
Flute Length is 5-3/4"
Overall Length is approx. 11-1/2"
The drive end is approx. .724" square with a
.952" diam round shank.
It is a 4 Flute tap. 5 pitch
Hs hss high speed steel
I measured it and it looks like it starts out cutting
at about .998" diameter then it tapers up to
the largest cutting diameter which is about 1.209" these taps
are almost always a few thousandths larger than the size.
