Overview: Create a legendary experience for the company's clients and help the team succeed by assisting Project Managers with supervision of construction labor, scheduling, material delivery and inspections. This position is for a “working” supervisor, which means providing onsite labor as necessary, including trim carpentry, and the ability to assist with framing and siding installation. Also manage repairs and subcontractors for warranty work and property management calls.

Expectations by which this position will be measured:

-Train and supervise the day to day construction labor on assigned job sites.
-Enthusiastic participation in various hands-on aspects of the construction process, which may include the
following: trim carpentry, framing, siding installation, and assisting other trades as necessary.
-Ensure quality standards and processes are followed, using the tools provided, such as project software and

-Keep Project Manager informed regarding any potential quality issues, client issues, or change orders.
-Perform miscellaneous “punch out” items to ensure the project is 100% complete prior to closing.
-Serve our subcontractors well by having the job site ready, materials and supplies needed for each trade, and
providing complete information.
-Maintain a clean and organized job site, including marketing and job or lot number signs, maintenance of silt
fences, humidifiers, dehumidifiers, and furnace filters.
-Manage all client personality types and maintain control of the process through the entire project.
-Attend and be a participating team member in weekly team meetings, as well as other training that may be
-Take ownership for continuous improvement in the areas of client experience, quality, and profits. Provide
ongoing feedback to the appropriate team members with recommendations for improvements.
Prerequisites for success:
-Desire to work hard and a consistently positive attitude
-Ability to perform various aspects of construction, including trim carpentry, framing, and siding installation
-Knowledgeable in most aspects of construction, including excavation, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and proper
methods for protecting the building envelope from water intrusion
-Aptitude for planning ahead to avoid foreseeable problems
-Ability to solve problems and handle conflicts with win-win outcomes
-Effective communication verbally, and in writing
-Ability to work through complex scenarios pertaining to soils, structural components, building envelopes, and
other details unique to high-end construction
-Skilled in leading, managing, and evaluating subcontractors and field staff
-Desire for continually improving skills and processes
-Capacity to get tools and materials to job sites (truck or van)
-Must possess physical capabilities to lift construction materials, handle small hand and power tools, and drywall
& painting repair/touch-ups during punch out phase.
